DESCRIPTION:
Offered Here is a vintage circa 1930s or 1940s STERLING SILVER Lipstick Compact with a Turquoise gemstone and a fold out mirror. This lipstick holder has an ornate hand chased design that covers the entire outside. The compact measures 2 1/4" in length by 3/4" square. When the top is pulled out the mirror springs open as pictured. The turquoise gemstone holds the mirror in place when closed and also work to raise the lipstick.
It is marked on the inside for 800 silver and was made in Italy. This lipstick holder is in very good well preserved estate condition. The only thing to note is some slight cloudiness to the mirror.
