Description

The Vert Bridle Sensor from Equla is a unique and versatile training tool that allows you to get instantaneous feedback from the saddle. Attaching to your horse's crownpiece, this sensor sits between your horse's ears and has a light to alert you of either head position or pace, selected with an app on your smartphone (Android app currently only uses angle mode, iPad and iPhone use all modes).
The angle mode on Vert monitors and informs you about your horse's head position, no mirrors or trainer required. As your horse flexes their neck, a precise digital sensor detects the angle of their head and emits either a blue, green, or red light. These lights then provide quick and easily visible feedback to the rider, alerting you of a head position above, behind, or at the vertical. These zones can also be adjusted to your preferences, allowing you to adjust for different horses or different stages of training.
The pace mode on Vert allows you to track the speed of and record your ride to keep track of your training. Available in a variety of speed measurements such as meters-per-minute, miles-per-hour, seconds-per-furlong, and more, the light can alert you of too fast, too slow, just the right pace. It also records your ride using GPS so you can later see exactly where you went and how fast you were going.
Vert can be completely customized, with all settings being easily changed. While it could never replace a trainer's instruction, it can be used to enhance your training and help you stay on track while preventing bad habits when schooling on your own. Easily adjustable to fit on any bridle, Vert may just be the tool you've been looking for.
Please Note: At this time, Vert must be used with an iPhone or iPad in order to utilize the pace and heart features. The Android app only features angle mode at this time.
